Samba Independente dos Bons Costumes, affectionately known as SIBC, began its journey as a samba group about ten years ago. At that time, my business Santê Hostel, was thriving, not just as a lodge option but also as a vibrant space for events. The band, which had no brand, visual identity, or symbol at the time, was set to perform at our venue, and I needed to promote them at the event on Facebook. As we had always had a close relationship, I decided to create the logo that today adorns t-shirts, cups, and even the stage at Fundição Progresso, in Rio de Janeiro, every Thursday.
